I have to admit, the thing I loved the least was the Mobi...I would usually have the student come up to the board because they had so much trouble writing on the Mobi and it seemed to take more time trying to make it look nice.
The white interactive board was the best along with the speaker system. These two I used every day. The CPS system will be used more next year because this summer I will have more time to get everything set up....when you have three different preps there does not seem to be any free time. I did use the system a lot, but for algebra tests it did not work well....if the student needs more than one class period, they did not like not knowing the whole grade right away or which ones to correct. While they are taking their test I could tell which ones they were getting wrong, but once I ended the session, the colors went away.....it is much easier just seeing the green and red on the screen.
Differentiation using technology was easy:) the students love presentation days. I even taped them and what they liked and disliked with the technology. They know much more than me and helped when I needed help. We even entered a contest to win more equipment (but lost) however they are still talking about it....my guess is they won't remember any of the algebra, but singing "Eye of the Teacher" will be the highlight of the year.
I know there are things that I still need to learn or have forgotten. Technology is not my strong suit, but I am a lot more Tech savy this year. Before I only knew how to email without attachments. I can truly say that my teaching style is completely different from years past....but I still have much to learn........
